Update: For Students
Many of you have expressed that you would like to explore payment options that could relieve the weight of our upfront 10k tuition.
Karen put in a lot of work researching partner companies - and we’ve found a way to offer an “Income Share Agreement.” 🤞
In short, this would allow the student to put down a partial payment to start - and then to pay the remaining tuition based on their income when they land their job.
We are committed to making this experience accessible to people of all financial standing. Our ability to bring people together from all walks of life is key to the process.
We’re really excited about how this is working out: This will be a way for us to share in the risk and the reward.
A quick mini-course
1: Setting the stage.
You can just watch them all — or, 1 a day and follow along with your own project. (but you can watch the first 2 in one day.
2: Goal-driven design
You don’t need Photoshop - or a graphics program to “design” a website. You really don’t even need a computer. Just get out a pencil and paper - and set aside some TIME to focus.
3: How will you know that you’ve reached the goals?
There has to be some way to measure it… or how will you know?
(parts 4,5,6 etc… maybe in a future email?)
A short story
The American Life: The Magic Show
(specifically: Act one: “The Oldest Trick in the Book”)
Design is about tension - and we’ll have to expect tension between designers! Here’s a high-stakes relationship to think about.
